Empower Your Life

Discover personalized solutions for your health and emotional well-being with Universal Biology.

Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer discovered the principles of New Germanic Medicine in 1981. We combine the majority of those principles with a healthy nutrition approach that is specific to the human body. We like call this holistic approach Universal Biology.

If you have lost trust in the medical system and are looking for a new approach to better health, contact us for a consultation.

Your body is in most cases fully capable of healing itself with the right coaching and support, physically and emotionally. Are you ready to heal, take your health into your own hands and rebuild the trust with your own body?

Universal Biology is based on 5 Natural Laws of Biology:
  • 1 - A sudden biological conflict (irritation) causes a reaction. The onset is dramatic, unexpected, and acute, causing us to feel helpless and isolated. This conflict affects the mind (psyche), brain, organs and the autonomic nervous system. The body's reaction is called the Meaningful Biological Special Program. The possible reactions are: Fight (anger), Flight (avoidance), or Freeze (paralyzed).

  • 2 - There is a 2-phase system during the Meaningful Biological Special Program as shown in the Figure below: a conflict-active phase and a conflict-resolved phase.

  • 3 - There is order and interconnection of the organs and tissues. All tissue types are based on the 3 embryonic germ layers (precursor to embryo): Endoderm, Mesoderm (old and new) and Ectoderm. Certain tissues and organs are controlled by specific parts of the brain. When a sudden and dramatic conflict occurs the function of the organ/tissue either increases or decreases. Part of the function is cell proliferation (+) or cell degradation (-). Sex (male, female) and sidedness (left-handed, right-handed) are specific.

  • 4 - All microbes have purpose and meaningful functions. The theory that microbes cause disease is a misconception. Microbes play a vital role during the healing phase. Since microbes require a warm environment, the body commonly experiences inflammation and fever during the healing phase. All microbes live in harmony, but a specific microbe in the wrong location may cause trouble. In contrast to common belief, white blood cells actually support microbes and do not "fight" them.

  • 5 - Every “symptom of disease” is a Meaningful Biological Special Program. Every reaction of the body in every aspect of life has meaning. Every reaction of the body is an attempt to self-regulate and repair. We may experience our body’s reaction as annoying and as a burden, when we should really listen to our body and ask what it is trying to tell us. Each symptom is unique and has its own meaning. Each symptom must be regarded and treated individually. Symptoms cannot be lumped together (as is commonly done by the medical system).

Emotional and psychological trauma

Universal Biology does not address symptoms that are a result of poisoning or acute emergencies such as fractures.

What Universal Biology addresses most effectively is emotional and psychological trauma. The state of mind and the health of our soul is closely connected to the state and health of individual organs and the body as a whole.

Most health problems and associated symptoms are a direct result of unresolved conflicts in relation to our partner, our children, our parents and our close friends, but also in relation to our superiors, work colleagues and exposure to stressful situations.

Strong emotions such as anger, resentment, jealousy, and especially fear can have tremendous effects on the long-term health of our mind and body.

Your unresolved conflicts may be the reason

Many adults have experienced fearful moments in their life. Fear puts our mind and body into a state of awareness, and we usually respond with a Fight, Flight or Freeze reaction. But an overwhelming and ongoing fear (for example, fear of an alleged "virus" that we cannot see with our eyes) can severely impact our long-term health. Intense fear can lead to a state, in which we can easily be controlled by others.

In their early years, children can often experience intense emotional trauma, which, if unresolved, can negatively affect their health years later, even in their adult life. Many childhood traumas are related to fear (for example, fear of separation or fear of death), loss (for example, death of a loved one, or separation of parents) and emotional abuse (for example, being yelled at, insulted, left alone). Often, these traumas and conflicts are connected to adverse health, and only get resolved many years later.

Ongoing stress

Stress can show up in different ways and forms. Sometimes we don't even realize that we are under stress.

When asked about stressful situations, people mostly refer to incidents at their place of work (for example, too much work and not enough time, or deadlines that cannot be met, or unrealistic expectations from superiors, or unfair treatment by colleagues and superiors). But inter-personal stress can also occur between partners, between parents and children, between friends, and even between strangers, which can lead to long-lasting, adverse health if the stress remains unresolved.

The human body can also be subjected to stress as a result of improper foods that irritate the organs, forcing the body to respond with inflammation and repeated repair processes, thus leading to ongoing problems that the medical system calls "chronic diseases."

Nutrition Specific to the Human Body

Explore healthy nutrition solutions to enhance your well-being and overall quality of life, and support the healing powers of your body.

Facts about fibre

Humans cannot digest hard plant structures such as cellulose or fibre. Humans rely on animal components in the diet for optimal health and prioritize meat over plant-based foods. Only those living beings that are capable of significant fermentation in their digestive tract can digest plant-based foods.

Intestinal length in relation to body size

A study published in the "Nutrition & Dietetics Journal" of Dietitians Australia examined the ratio of intestinal length to body length, as well as the ratio of area of the gastrointestinal tract to total body surface area of several species. The result is that humans fall right between cats and dogs, both carnivores, with ratios of 5:1 and 0.8:1, respectively, while the same ratios for cattle, who naturally only eat plant-based foods, are 20:1 and 3:1, respectively.

pH of stomach acid in comparison

A study published in the National Library of Medicine shows that the stomach acid of humans has a very low pH value of 1 to 2, providing a highly acidic environment that is similar to carnivores (meat eaters). In contrast, herbivores (plant eaters) have a much higher pH value with a range of 5.5 to 7.5. The highly acidic stomach acid of humans prevents the colonization by microbes that are needed to digest plant-based foods. Hence, the human digestive system is optimal for digesting animal foods and not plant-based foods.

Fiber and digestive problems

A study published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology shows that people who avoided foods with fibre experienced a significant reduction in digestive symptoms such as constipation, bloating, and diarrhea. The higher the fibre content and consumption, the more symptoms occurred.

Natural defense mechanisms

To protect against predators, plants utilize chemical and physical defense mechanisms, such as thorns and spines, but also toxic substances that can poison and paralyze predators. These toxic substances are natural pesticides produced by plants. A study published in the National Library of Medicine shows that 99.99% of the pesticides found in the North American diet are in fact of natural origin and are produced by the plants themselves.

Wild plants in nature usually contain toxic substances, which the human body is unable to break down. In contrast, animal tissue and fluids are easily digestible by the human body and do not contain such toxic substances. Hence, some indigenous people focus on hunting and livestock farming to meet their food needs.

Whole, raw, natural foods

The central element that animals and humans really need is the energy substance that the organism can absorb and use from food, which enables the body to form tissues, bones, tendons and other vital components.

Whole, natural, raw foods function in a holistic manner, with nutrients embedded in complex structures and tissues that altogether form a living matter. It is that holistic, living matter that is digested by the body. Whole, natural foods are not simply a collection of isolated particles and substances.

Any process that modifies a whole, raw, natural food (such as cooking, grilling, dehydrating, etc.) also reduces the energy substance and its quality that the body can absorb. A charred food has no energy substance left. Raw foods that are readily available to humans, such as animals, natural fruits, raw milk and raw honey for example, provide the highest energy substance and the best quality.

The Truth about Vitamins and Supplements

Explore healthy nutrition solutions to enhance your well-being and overall quality of life, and support the healing powers of your body.

What is a vitamin?

An organic compound that is not synthesized in the human body, and the absence/deficiency of which produces disease symptoms.” (Search Engine Result)

Has a vitamin ever been isolated and observed directly in food? No.

Has the alleged functionality of a vitamin ever been observed directly? No.

Has it simply been assumed that vitamins exist? Yes.

What is that assumption based on?

Similar to virology, which assumes that a pathogenic (disease-causing) germ (a so-called “virus”) must be the only explanation for symptoms of “disease,” it is also assumed that tiny molecules called “vitamins” must be present in fruits and vegetables, and which allegedly affect the health of the human body to great extent.

History (tale) of vitamin C

The concept of “vital amines” originated in the 1900s and was tied to scurvy, which affected predominantly sailors on long journeys, who did not have access to fresh and nutritious food, and clean water. Symptoms of scurvy include fatigue, soreness, joint stiffness, skin rash, etc. As soon as the “sick” sailors received fresh, nutritious food, and clean water, their health improved dramatically.

The assumption was made that a small molecule in citrus fruits must have been responsible for the improved health. It was referred to as “Vitamin C.”

But were all other possibilities ruled out as a cause for the improved health? Were proper experiments with control groups performed? Was there only one independent variable? Were control groups observed, where one group was given food with “Vitamin C” and the other group the same food without “Vitamin C”?

History (tale) of vitamin C

Around the 1930s, Albert Szent-Györgyi performed experiments on guinea pigs with a synthetically derived compound that he called ascorbic acid. He concluded that since those guinea pigs that were fed the ascorbic acid thrived compared to the other guinea pigs, the synthetically derived ascorbic acid must therefore be the long-sought miracle molecule “Vitamin C.”

No control experiments were performed. Everything was based on the assumption that the guinea pigs required the assumed molecule to survive. Nobody questioned the methodology that was used. Nobody questioned the lack of scientific procedure. The discovery of “Vitamin C” was celebrated, it was called ascorbic acid, and the industrial mass production of ascorbic acid was initiated.

The ingredients of vitamin supplements

Most people have no idea that highly toxic substances are used in the production of synthetic supplements. Some examples:

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): coal tar derivatives, hydrochloric acid; acetonitrile with ammonia.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin): produced by oxidizing 2-Methyl-5-ethylpyridine with nitric acid (both highly toxic).

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine): synthesized through the chemical reaction of hydrocyanic acid, phosphorus pentoxide and 1,4-butenediol.

Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin): produced through bacterial fermentation using the poisonous metal cobalt and cyanide.

Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol): produced using irradiated lanolin (sheep’s wool) with hexane, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide, methanol and magnesium chloride.

Why do supplements make us feel better?

Besides the well-publicized and proven placebo effect, pharmaceutical drugs and vitamin supplements (also drugs) suppress the symptoms in the healing phase (where repair and regeneration take place, see Universal Biology above).

The body sees pharmaceutical drugs as poisonous substances, toxins that do not belong. As a result, it initiates an emergency response to address the poisoning through increased heart rate, clearing of airways for increased breathing, adrenaline, increased energy levels and feeling more alert. The body shifts back into the sympathicotonic state (see Universal Biology above).

This shift into an emergency response is misinterpreted as “feeling better” because the symptoms have disappeared. But remember: the symptoms that we are feeling are part of the healing phase. The healing of the body has its own timeline. The drugs are not magically speeding up the repair and regeneration phase. They simply interrupt it.

Do we really need supplements?

We are made to believe that our body requires supplementation because the nutrient levels in our food have allegedly declined over decades, even though such claims are based on questionable studies. What is the right food for human beings?

How come traditional, indigenous people such as the Maasai, Hadza and Inuit people show excellent health (no diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, dental issues, etc.) even though they do not consume any synthetic vitamin supplements? The key: these traditional people only consume naturally sourced, raw foods such as meat, fish, blood, raw milk, fruits and honey.

Even if a supplement is derived from a naturally sourced material, the synthetic isolated end product, which has gone through numerous chemical processes and physical processes, is not the same as eating the natural, whole, unprocessed food.

The central element that animals and humans really need is not the alleged variety of claimed “functional molecules”, but the energy substance that the organism can absorb and use from food, which enables the body to form tissues, bones, tendons and other vital components.
